Virali Nagda 

Virali is a transactional lawyer with experience across private M&A, transaction structuring, contract negotiation and corporate governance. She advises strategic acquisitions, financial sponsors and founders through the full life cycle of a M&A transaction.

 

Prior to ALP, she spent 5 years in the corporate and commercial practice at Khaitan & Co, where she worked on marquee mandates for private equity and venture capital firms, global sovereign funds, multinationals, listed Indian companies and HNIs. Her work spanned strategic acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, promoter exits and secondary sales, foreign investment regulation and general corporate advisory, across retail, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, financial services, technology and media.

 

In the past she advised Reliance Industries and Viacom18 on the technology, media and entertainment aspects of their strategic joint venture with The Walt Disney Company; Britannia Industries on its dairy joint venture with Bel SA; Investcorp on the sale of its entire stake in ASG Hospital; and an investor group including Cerberus Capital Management and Canyon Capital Advisors on a USD 1.7 billion listed debenture issuance by Goswami Infratech, in one of the largest private credit transactions in the Indian market. She brings a practical, solution oriented, client-centric approach to service.

 

Virali is qualified to practice law in India. She has completed her graduation from NALSAR University of Law.
